As the fifth named storm of the season, Éowyn is set to bring wet, wintry, and windy weather to the UK tomorrow and into the early weekend.

Severe gale to hurricane force gusts are expected, with the strongest winds likely across Northern Ireland and the west coast and areas of higher altitude in Scotland, England and Wales.

Heavy rain is also predicted across many parts of Wales, south-west England, Northern Ireland, and particularly over the hills of western Scotland, where some of this precipitation could fall as snow.

Damage to properties, localised flooding and travel disruption is expected, and we are anticipating a potential surge in claims.

We’re here to support you with adjusting and claims management services.

If you have questions or need assistance, please contact your Sedgwick Client Director or any of the contacts on the right.
